How to use this tool
- Choose your content type — URL/Text, WiFi, Email, Phone, SMS or vCard — using the selector at the top.
- Fill in the fields for that type: a URL, WiFi network name and password, contact details, etc.
- Optionally customise the foreground and background colours, error-correction level and output size.
- The QR code previews live — click the copy icon to grab the encoded payload as plain text.
- Click "Download PNG" for a raster image or "Download SVG" for an infinitely scalable vector file.

Frequently asked questions
01Do these QR codes expire?
No. QR codes generated here are entirely static — they encode your data directly into the image pattern. There is no server, no link shortener and no expiry date. As long as you keep the downloaded PNG or SVG file, the code will work forever, even if this website is gone.
02Can I use them commercially? Is there a watermark?
Yes — completely free for personal and commercial use, with no watermark and no attribution required. The QR codes are generated client-side using the open-source qrcode library. There are no usage limits and no account required.
03What is error correction and which level should I choose?
Error correction lets a QR code be read even if part of it is damaged or obscured. Level L (Low) adds about 7% redundancy — smallest code, least tolerance; M (Medium, the default) adds 15% — ideal for most everyday uses; Q (Quartile) adds 25% — better for textured or outdoor print; H (High) adds 30% — best when part of the code may be covered, such as with a logo overlaid on the centre. Higher levels produce a denser code pattern.
04Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. Every QR code is generated entirely inside your browser using client-side JavaScript — nothing you type is ever sent to our servers or any third party. Your WiFi password, contact details and URLs stay on your device.
